Dear Respected BZNFS Members

Assalamualaikum and greetings. The Bangladesh New Zealand Friendship Society Inc. (BNZFS), a community-based charity organisation, working towards the well-being of its members and the Bangladeshi Community in New Zealand for more than a quarter of a century. The Executive Committee (EC) cordially invites all the members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023, scheduled to be held on 11th November 2023 (Saturday) at 12.00 pm at our office premise, 3 Rowe Street, Onehunga, Auckland. A packet lunch will be served at the beginning of the AGM at 12pm.  

Agenda for AGM 2023:

1. Record of the attendance (starts at 12pm)
2. Ensure that a quorum has established (12.30pm)
3. Once established the quorum, open the meeting for business by General Secretary, Dr. Md Akbar Hossain PhD
4. Recitation from the Holy Book Quran
5. Welcome speech from the Honourable BNZFS’s Patron & founder president Mr. Ataur Rahman, MNZM
6. Welcome new members 2022-23 by Vice President, Mr. Anupom Ghosh
7. Approval of AGM-2021-22 minutes (copy attached)
8. Presentation of annual activities report and audited financial accounts of financial year 2022-23 (copy attached): General Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
9. Discussion of annual reports and acceptance of the financial report conducted by the General Secretary.
10. Constitution amendments or discussion of such legislative processes, recommendations and resolutions.
11. Formation of Election Commission (Patron Mr. Ataur Rahman, MNZM )
12. Thanks giving and resolution of Executive Committee.
13. Election Commission take chair and arrange election process
14. Elected new Executive Committee.
15. New EC take chairs: introduction and welcome session
16. Set membership fee for 2024-25 (already approved in 2022 AGM for 2023-24 membership fee- General Member $30/-PP and Senior Citizen $15/-PP).
17. Appointment of auditor for 2023-24
18. Thanksgiving by the outgoing president.
19. Meeting concluded.
